Honor Guard

The VFW Post 2375 is proud to offer free grave-side honors to ALL Veterans in Kingsville and the surrounding area. We also partner with the local American Legion and DAV Posts to provide these honors to ALL Veterans regardless of group affiliation.

The primary mission of the VFW Post 2375 Honor Guard Detail is to render Military Funeral Honors to Veterans in the Kingsville area and the surrounding community. This ensures that no Veteran who has honorably served in the United States Armed Forces goes without their much-deserved final Honors.

Many Cemeteries in Kleberg County do not provide an Honor Guard, and some Veterans are interred in these small rural cemeteries without getting their much-deserved final Honors.

You may ask why. The service is only provided at National Cemeteries, and it takes Veterans to Volunteer and Participate with our Honor Guard to ensure these much-deserved final Honors are conducted in these small rural cemeteries.

Who may participate in the Honor Guard Detail? Any Veteran currently registered with the VA.

If you would like to know more about this service or to schedule an appointment with the Honor Guard to attend services for a veteran, don’t hesitate to contact us.
