The VFW Post 2375 is proud to offer free grave-side honors to ALL Veterans in Kingsville and the surrounding area. We also partners with the local American Legion and DAV Posts to provide these honors to ALL Veterans regardless of group affiliation, etc.
The primary mission of the VFW Post 2375 Honor Guard Detail is the rendering of Military Funeral Honors to the Veterans in the Kingsville area and the surrounding community. To ensure that no Veteran, who has honorably served in the United States Armed Forces goes without their much-deserved final Honors.
There are many Cemeteries located in Kleberg County that do not provide an Honor Guard and some Veterans are interned in these small rural cemeteries without getting their much-deserved final Honors.
You may ask why? The service is only provided at National Cemeteries and it takes Veterans to Volunteer and Participate with the our Honor Guard to make sure these much-deserved final Honors in these small rural cemeteries is conducted.
Who may participate in the Honor Guard Detail? Any Veteran currently registered with the VA.
