It is with deep sadness that VFW Roy E. Davis Post 2375 announces our longtime Comrade, Elias S. Cuevas, has made their final roll call. Comrade Cuevas a proud U.S. Army Veteran who served honorably in Vietnam. He passed earlier today, surrounded by his loving family.
For decades, Elias stood as a pillar of strength within VFW Roy E. Davis Post 2375 and the greater Veteran community. His unwavering commitment to his fellow Veterans, his country, and the principles of duty, honor, and service embodied the very best of what it means to wear the uniform. He was more than a Comrade—he was a mentor, a brother, and a true patriot who never stopped serving long after his time in Vietnam.
Because of Elias, countless Veterans found support, camaraderie, and a place to belong. His legacy is one of selfless service, quiet strength, and a lifelong dedication to those who served.
We invite our community to join us in honoring his life and paying tribute to a man who gave so much to so many:
